  • We recommend feeding any dogs over the age of 6 months twice a day.
  • Some dogs may need, more or less to maintain proper weight.
  • Depending on the breed of your puppy depends on the age they can move to adult formula, larger puppies can move over sooner, but still feed puppy rations until they are fully grown.

Moving to raw

There seems to be a misperception around the idea of switching animals to
a raw diet. Despite raw food being the natural diet of all animals, with biologically appropriate ingredients being the best choice, it seems that conventional pet food products are still considered as the easiest and safest option by some pet owners. We’re committed to changing these consumer attitudes.We recommend that you make a simple and straight switch to our raw foods, starting with your pet’s morning feed. Do remember that Nutriment is a complete formula and does not require any supplementation. Our in-house nutritional advisors are always available to advise on switching to a raw diet and can help with any questions or raw queries you may have. It is a good idea to ‘go back to basics’ when approaching the raw diet. Keep it simple for yourself and your pet.

What to expect

As with any diet switch, you may notice a change in your pet’s stools or in their attitude towards their food - these are both completely normal in the short term (which is effectively a detox period). After the first couple of weeks of a raw diet, you will notice that your pet’s coat and their skin are both healthier, they poo less and may even drink less (as raw food contains high levels of moisture). Over time, you’ll notice your pet will reach a natural, healthy weight for their breed and body type.
